After reading this I'm now thinking of putting a bigger rear sprocket onto my SVS to get more acceleration out of it so it feels more like my old naked, but want to do it on the cheap without replacing the chain. Does anyone have experience of whether I can go upto a 45T or 46T without replacing the chain?

Well, its on.

Had to take it to a bike shop in the end to fit it, I couldnt shift the nut.

24" breaker bar with a bloke holding the back brake, and another big bloke on the breaker bar, still wouldnt shift, and I didnt want to risk slipping and rounding the nut off.

Difference is not day and night, I do notice the redline comes a lot quicker though!
