Aye but there is a tradeoff, the plates, especially the thin ones are going to flex, which is undesirable.

You have emulators? Try add a bit more preload on emulator spring. I was very surprised to note how much difference compression damping makes to the feeling of braking power, all in your head but it seems to help.

To get more braking power (on a given disc size) you need more force on pads, you can get this by more slave cylinder area or more pressure in system. Up to you whether to get this with different MC or calipers.
