Not everyone who appreciates wine is a snob of course. Although 1959 was noted as a good year for the region its maturity and drinkability now is dependant on how well it has been kept and how well the cork has survived. Light and changing temperatures all affect this and if the bottle has been stood upright the cork may have dried and let in air.
If you're not bothered about consuming it sell it and let someone else take the risk of it not being drinkable.
