Similar in my family, although my brother had a bike for a while, he never took to it.

But I was like my Dad, I love them

You/he did well to get to 23 before getting the bug... My son started aged 4 on a QR50 and has been getting steadily more expensive ever since. He did his CBT 2 days after his 16th (wasn't allowed the day off school on his birthday!) and is now busy trying to gets insurance quotes for my SV come his 17th.... Confused.com is my friend, there is no way he can afford it!

My step son has already made moves towards pinching my SV off of me, despite him not even being old enough to have his bike yet. Once he is old enough to ride something bigger than a 50CC, he can go and get a 125 and learn the old fashioned way! No way am I giving up my SV, it is my preciousssssss *crawls away to eat raw fish and talk to the air*

I had to collect him on the GSXR, the first pillion I've had since 1991and I've never taken a pillion on a sport bike so it was a very steady ride home as the wife had told me " if you kill him I'll kill you".
Now he's so enthused he wants to take a week off work to do the direct access. I can already hear the words Dad can I borrow the SV, eeeeeerrrrrmmmm NO
Loved it so much really can't wait to get my full licence and a bike ...I'm sure you'll let me borrow you SV...if you don't know about it haha.
