Rain-X outside. Then damp cloth if you get a sticky bug just leve the cloth on and its softens up after a bit.
In-side soft glass cloth so i dont wipe off the Anti fog.

Rain x is funny stuff. The visor needs to be clean for it to stick and it needs to dry fully before you polish it off.
On the car its loads easyer

After a days ride I use TWO paper kitchen towels soaked with warm water and spread these across the front of the lid, covering the visor and the front of the shell - this gets rid of all the dead bugs after a couple of minutes . When dry, I buff off with a microfibre / old T shirt (whatever is to hand) inside and out.
Out on the road, I tend to carry a pack of wet wipes under the seat in case I need to clean, and I am such a snotty bugger, I usually have a paper tissue around somewhere to dry off ! I dont really use a proprietry anti fog on the inside or on me glasses - I just open the vents in the (Arai) visor, and leave the smallest of cracks open at the bottom of the visor. I find that this does for me fine |

that's the good thing about the rain-x 2in1 you just squirt wipe and go. its the only product i have used on my visor all year and its been great. it does wear off but a quick clean and its all good again, i have even used it on wet mucky visors with no i'll effect. bug splattered visors take about 30s-1min for the stuff to soak into the bugs then they come right off, then its another quick spray and wipe then off i go. i cant stress enough that the triggerspray it comes with is shizz and that's why i use an atomiser spray for glasses cleaner also using the atomiser makes the stuff last for ages i have only filled it twice this year with loads left from the last fill and i have done around 8000 miles and i think atomiser only holds 100ml.

I use this stuff
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SHELL-HELM...-/370256949252 Usually buy it at Croft when BSB is on for a £1 Spray on, leave for 1 min and wipe all the bugs and grime of easily. Then a spray of nick wax waterproofer (been told all nikwax products are the same and this seems to work) and polish dry. Shell stuff excellent for all over helmet for removing bugs and grime, still on 1st can and been using for over a year.

Run the hot tap over the visor to loosen any bugs & rinse away dirt and grit, and then a drop of washing up liquid and remove any marks with my fingers.
Flick excess water off and let it dry naturally. Away from home the V sponge is under the seat

Damp tea towel at home, nikwak to help the water bead off and the V sponge when out and about. I won't use washing up liquid because of the high salt content and subsequent scratching.
