What bike next?

my zx6r B1H was around £270 1yrs ncb but I was 28 with bikesure.

just done a quote for a zx and it seems abit high but next year i'll get 3 years ncb so might be worth waiting abit. I want about a 55 plate zx (under seat exhaust one) but i aint got much money for a bike, can u pick these up at a reasonable price?

Between £3-3500 should get you a good one, thats what I have worked out that I will need to spend. Insurance for me is about £500 I think which is insane, I think some of its do with my postcode and the insurance companies are mongs. I have 4 ncb, go figure eh. How far is you commute?

I had a crash on my Tuono and now my insurance is £650 on a street triple r and I'm 32, and it has a lot to do with postcode, when I was a claims advisor many moons ago a guy moved across the road and his postcode changed slightly and his insurance tripled.

my commute is only about 5 miles there and 5 miles back then i use it for fun at weekends. I wanna stay under £2500 so won't get a new zx, i'd like something sporty but thing i'll have to stick to an sv, i prefer the pointy shape so prob have to get one of those as seen a few for about £2000 my insurance is only about £250 atm

Five miles it would probally just as quick to cycle, the money save put towards a ZX-6R anyways that what I would do.

still have mine for sale. in vgc with lots of extras for the price your looking to spend.

although if you fancy a change some of the older zx6r's from around 2000 can be had for a good price ( around the £1500 with loads of goodies )

Insurance may be cheaper than you think, im 21 with 4 years no claims 6 points and a gsxr 750 k5 and pay 400 for thrid party fire n theft. Go on moneysupermarket and do a comparison quote. Oh and thats with 6000 miles, garage parked but rough area, sd&c. HTH. oh and the bikes awsome, more low down than 600's with still pleanty of top end and not bad on fuel either (40mpg average at 90mph motorway stuff)
