good motgp race

plenty of action and stuff going on

so happy with that

Goodracing from Crutchlow to beat Dovi.

Taxi for Mr Rossi.........................
When you are smoked by Stefan Bradl in his first MotoGP race on a new bike and Hector Barbera on a Ducati cast off then I bet World SuperBikes looks attractive.

Brilliant. Very glad Cal got past Dovi (looking good for an all UK team next year).

Anyone know what was wrong with Mr Spies?

Here goes Casey Moaner again.....

Nice race, good to see action to the end.
Surprised, in a good way, to see Bradl in the top 10. Wonder where Cal would end up if he'd managed to pass Dovi earlier.

And here go the Stoner haters again...

I don't know if anyone can complain about stoner today - if anyone saw his post race interview, I saw some humility, humbleness and sportsmanship from him. He commended both Dani and Jorge for their racing and he wasn't being hard on his team, he admitted it was his downfall (his hand and forearm seizing up) which caused him to lose time and eventually lose the two places. In my eyes he got a bit more respect (other than him being a mind boggling rider anyway!)

Anyway away from him and onto the actual race... MOTOGP IS BACK! Good fun watching that, couple of moments where I was out of my seat, fist pumping in the air Suchhhh competition between Cal and Dovi, was great entertainment to see those two ride!

Also did anyone note how much everyone was sliding around and bouncing up and down during the race, Qatar seems like quite a rough track, I know it's quite sandy and dusty already. Got me tensing a couple of times when the guys wobbled severely in and out of turns...

Last thing, anyone know what happened to Kar Abrahams? (and the other two who dropped out, can't seem to remember who they were though)

Dan

Well done Cal!

And in the race I saw over here in Canada (which looked like std. program) I didn't see one shot of Rossi all through the race! It was like they were deliberately avoiding showing him. Very unusual.

It seemed the same from the BBC coverage. Rossi was down by side of his bike before the race and didn't talk to anyone, nor after the race. Three weeks until the next race!

Can't wait for tomorrow
Quote from Rossi on autosport.com

"I can't ride this bike, I can't make the difference, I can't even keep up with Hayden's pace, who I used to go quick against in comparison. In theory, with new tyres I should go quicker. Nicky managed to do a good race with the other works Ducati, but he still ended up only sixth."

What a huge shame.

It is a huge shame about Rossi, doesn't feel like his skills are being utilised at all. Although I admit his highside probably has some small part in it, his confidence in that bike must have taken a bit of a nosedive. But at least the other racers are getting a chance to move things up a notch. Cracker of a race, eee glad it's back!
