Exhaust time now,

Bought myself a renegade end can with link pipe on the cheap but it wont fit.
The only way I can see of fitting it is to cut the standard system off.
On my bike it goes from the end can then spilts into two loopy bits then goes to each cylinder.

Can anybody confirm what I am thinking and I have to cut and join?

The computerised MOT system started in 2006 or 2007 so there's every chance the clocks were changed before then.

Edit: found out it was actually 2005.

Yes, cut and join, but I can't tell you where to cut it.

A couple things have happened over the weekend.
Got ymself another gear linkage as the original one had the end missing.
Fitted some second hand paddock stand bungs(the ones that screw into the swinging arm)
And was going to fit some crash bungs but cant work out where they go.
I will post some pics,if anybody can tell em where they go please do let me know. Am posting 4 pics. if you can tell me pic 1,2,3 or 4.
They seem to be R&G bungs.

Picture of bungs?

There have been a couple of versions, mine have two metal cups and a large bolt and nuts that replace the main engine mount you are pointing to in the third picture.

Looking at the ebay add again it says they go in the top engine mount.
What one of my pics shows the top engine mount?

I just dont like cutting things from standard.
How would I fit the standard one back on if needed if I cut it?

a link pipe, if you buy new you'll normally get one in the box, did you think you're the first SV owner to have this issue ?
