Question Carb balancing

Hi All

I now have a Twinmax again and willl be looking to balance or at least check the carb balance on my curvy Sv tonight. I've been trawling the archives and I gather getting to the front carb vacuum is a bit of a sod? Is it a carbs off job or is there a work around?

Owt else I should know or any tips or must/mustn't do's?

Many thanks.

You won't need to remove the carb, but it is a little tight access wise, remove the lower rad mount bolt and pull the rad forwards, get a length of tubing (about 4") and leave it on the front spigot with a bolt blocking it, then next time just use that, so no rad moving needed.

Cheers Mark.

No it is not a carbs off job, but it is an airbox off job. See this on the main site for a mod you can do tp make balancing the carbs easier after the first time. You might also like to search on SVrider.com for good info on this mod.
