What proportion of car drivers hate filtering?

Interesting Josh! 21% of women find us irritating, but I'm sure they secretly fantasize about us too. Can't believe that question wasn't in the survey.

Irritating as in gives them an itch they need to scratch?

Try posting a poll on a car forum and you might getter a better idea. As we are all bikers, but none of us are mind readers, you won't get the answer to what proportion of drivers hate us filtering, though you may get an answer as to what proportion of drivers make it clear they hate it.

To be fair, out of the car drivers I've spoken to concerning bikes, it's the female ones who appear to adopt this opinion...read into that what you will.

I don't think it's too bad here in Yorkshire, not out in the country anyway. When in busy towns and cities people seem to have more to say about bikes "jumping" queues, they're only jealous cos we get home quicker.

i was in fact visually and verbally molested by a group of rampant women in a convertible when marking a junction back on AR10 and they weren't munters, i was a single man at the time

i think that its to do with the way you are filtering/riding. If you're being courteous, not trying to create gaps and shoving your way around, most are quite nice and will create a gap/move for you to make it easier.
Where as some will try and block a gap because of some reason-they're in a bad mood/a bike cut them up/some other poor excuse.

I just keep it safe and sensible! Whether i'm the in the traffic or filtering through it
