You'd need a dyno to find out I think. I'm going to say it's probably not legal but someone might chime in with more info.

Oh dear, what basic mechanics don't you understand?

The washers limit the air/fuel flow into the cylinders, the throttle stop limits the amount of fuel that can be in that mix.

but to rev out in 5th it would be doing 120+ which it can't. You need horsepower to do work.

Very simply and not completely accurately put as there are many factors..

Your bike cant attain the speed it needs to be travelling to rev out.

speed = air resistance.

Overcoming air resistance = work

horsepower = how much work the engine can do.

You cannot go faster because the air resistance cannot be overcome.

You need more power!

But you can rev to redline at half throttle in low gears on most bikes. Full throttle gives you more power and you get there quicker. You want to hit redline faster in lower gears, I get that, but you need more power to do so.

Yeah i know it wont go as quick as normal because i aint got 70bhp but there is a little more in it otherwise they wouldnt put the stop on? Im just thinking they done it to make ya ride safer? And that there inst actually a legal requirement for it

Why would they put the stop in to make it under 33bhp? There is no more in it until you're over the power limit. Having less power wont make you ride safer anyway. Slower yes, safer no.
