I'll take the reach around. Thanks Gav. You best have long arms and a good grip.

I like the idea of being set up to spray stuff. Adding more strings to the bow and all. I see Cage's point about time/effort/money and not necessarily doing a good job, but I suppose if I fudge it up I just do it again. Do you just sand them back by hand Gav or is there some other cunning method you use to get all the old crap off and get them ready for le paint?

Not sure if there is an easy way with plastics..obviously with metal you can get it blasted but dunno if there is a soft version for plastics..the rubbing down is far the worst part. After about 10 mins i usually begin wondering why im bothering..:P

generally i use a detail sander for stripping off old crap but you have to be careful how much you use it as you don't want to distort the shape of the panel. You can just key up the existing paint work and go over the top of it but i prefer to take it right back and start afresh

How about just washing it? Surely that would make it look better?

Or instead of vinyl wrap use electrical tape, comes in lots of colours and I'm sure you could get creative with a design using it
