Yeah ive had the SV 5.5 years, and the inital like 2 seconds of accelerating on the R6 is was dissapointed, but my opinion changed fairly rapidly after that, as was my speed.... lol
I'm just sitting here in work watching the minutes count down so I can go on it again.

Drove the car last night too after raking about on the bike for a few days.....220bhp now feels like a moped.

They're quick, but I do find the power a bit out of the way for more most roads.. not all though, it's a rush and a half.

Know the feeling very well! Changed to a 600RR 3 years ago after 2 years of the SV.

If you think its a hoot now, get a HM quickshifter on it and i guarantee you will love it even more!

WOT upshifts with no loss of power/drive = trouser change

i agree inline fours all the way. my cbr600rr makes me feel 10 years old. my sv650 makes want to get to get to work.

long straight lines are so much fun when you hear the revs go from 3k to 15k!!!!!

Had both bikes too and grin factor is waaaay more on the RR
