Some of these suggestions are ridiculous! BLOODY RIDICULOUS!!! Drain oil into a clean container and then put back in?! RIDICULOUS!
Jambo's super-chilling technique has a scientific merit while the idea of changing it while popping a wheelie appeals to my deluded over confident adrenalin junkie side. Still favour the pop and swap for the simplicity and risk factor. I will film it!!! ![]()

When I did this:
http://forums.sv650.org/showpost.php...&postcount=153 I just put on a pair of marigolds, undid the plug carefully and thumbed the hole. Lost a whiff of oil but nowt really. |

Get some dowty seals and you can reuse zillions of times.
So you'll never forget that ****in crush washer again and have to get yer sump rethreaded and it costing you a packet of kitkats/marafins. ![]() |
