When I took a quick look I think it was around £100.
Quite like the idea of being able to see the TT circuit when it's not massively busy.

Do it man, stop faffing about
Pah I haven't even started the faffing yet..

What your stand out highlights of Scotland? I may yet be convinced.

Also what's TOGMIE2?? I'm obviously not down with the lingo around here!

lol in that case go in January , ferries aren't such a rip off )but still not cheap) and remember to stick to the limits in the towns or you shall regret it

hit up a list of good places to stay from james (check out go moto loco its worth its weight in gold) but tbh sometimes its best just to pick a direction a rough route and see where you end up, then early evening check on moto loco for somewhere good to stay near you, that's how you find the really memorable places

Biking Highlights of Scotland. I'll start with the A Roads.

A712/A702 from Newton Stewart to Elvanfoot.
A701 Moffat to Broughton.
A83 Arrochar to Lochgilphead.
A816 Lochgilphead to Oban.
A85 Oban to Crieff
A822/A826 Crieff to Aberfeldy.
A82 Tyndrum to Glencoe.
A86 Spean Bridge to Aviemore.
A87 Invergarry to Broadford (Skye)
A93 Blairgowrie to Braemar.
A939 Ballater to Grantown-on-Spey.
A830 Fort William to Mallaig.

There are more great roads even further north. Next installment is B roads...

some nice roads but they all are pale imitations of the real thing

http://goo.gl/maps/EASm0

if your going to do Scotland then you MUST do the above. i have been almost all over the borders/D&G/central belt and as far up as Dingwall but nothing and i mean nothing prepared me for what i seen past Ullapool, breathtaking is not a good enough word.

this little road is the most stunning piece of scenery in Scotland without a doubt, if you go and don't agree then you are brain dead.

Oh, you!

He is right, of course - get yourself onto the Routes layers on here, start exploring and just get your ass up over the border!

Seriously, Scotland on a motorbike is simple, pick a direction and ride.
