Sarcasm aside, something like redex injector mix in the fuel might help.

Injected according to the Suzuki website. Although thinking about it, not sure of that's all models or just the current.

Either way, redex do carb and injector stuff, wilkos sell it so may be a bit cheaper than Halfords

Spray some easy start around the intake side, carbs, etc....if revs rise, you've an air leak.
check plugs are clean, well seated, not fouled etc, and in good order...this will tell you too if its running rich or weak, or there is a problem etc.
Leads all clean and no cracks or damage?

Just had a full service so presumably the garage checked plug and leads.

AFAIK they changed the air filter, so maybe when they put the airbox back on it didn't seal properly?
