Old fork oil - different colours?

Reason you don't get rust inside is oil is designed to stop it. Emulsifier additives etc.

That'll do me - I wasn't too concerned, more just intrigued. I presume water can make it into the fork easier than oil can make it out, hence no external signs of any fork seal leak?

Comments re the dirty block paving noted. It's on the to do list (right at the bottom of it)!
