So how much protection do you get from a set of crash bungs??

I've a had a 15mph off that basically wiped out the right hand side of the bike causing £2.5k of damage.

It needs a

fairing
indicator
mirror
throttle grip
right fork
foot peg and rear brake
exhaust system
front wheel

Apart from the front wheel which was caused by the impact with the car how much of that damage could have been avoided by having bungs fitted?

The bike in the picture posted by R11ysf belongs to Sarah at Banditmania. If you want more info look at thier website

The crash bungs on her bike are (would you believe it) sold by Banditmania. The ones in JonToms are from R&G.

I reckon they will both do their job.

i got the r n g crash bungs and they stand out quite far so i guess they will do a proper job of saving the bike.

my harris rear sets and renthals keep saving my bike. last spill the zorst didnt touch down at all thank god.

any1 else have to machine the r n g metal parts to fit the 02 model?

It really does depend on how the bike falle to be honest. They are there to mainly save the frame
