Poor baby (the bike that is) hope you get her fixed soon.

Be careful out there peeps

p.s. I know a good bike medic will could fix any cosmetic damage to your bike. (based New Forest way) If you want his details let me know.

Repairs can be much cheaper than buying new panels!

I wasn't going that quick, but the manhole cover was about 1.5 inches below the road, so it unsettled the front and the bike went down.

Sorry about the spill, glad to hear you're OK and the bike's not THAT bad.

I guess we'll postpone that rideout until another time.

Steve, glad your Ok.

I've found over the last few years, it doesn't matter how slow, or how much safety kit you've got on, as you get older, It hurts more.
Just the bashing about is enough.

So, how did you miss this manhole if it was sunken an inch and a half, surely the cars bounced, going over it?

Still, hope you get the bike sorted soon.

Cheers Mark.

Well there weren't any cars on that bit of the roundabout.... Silly thing is, if I had of gone in a bit quicker, it would of probably pushed me wider, missing the manhole cover altogether.....

Ah well, the bill for the repair keeps going up... Need a new "mirror stay" as well, the bit that holds the cockpit together as it's snapped in two....
