I have just removed and split all of mine i was going to rattle can spray them and did look at the caliper paint but in the end i sent them to.

www.triple-s.co.uk

to be powder coated in gold they will be ready next Thursday will try to post pic if i can find out how to failing that i will send some to one of you to post up for me.

Only drawback with this method is you have to take them compleatly apart do do the job.

How much to get this done? Both front & back?

I sent a fair amount of parts to him so unsure. If you have a look at his price list he breaks it down to the size of the caliper ie 1 pot 4 pot 6 pot are all different prices also you pay more for gold than black etc.

All paint reacts bad to brake fluid, it depends on the laquire put on top. Sadly the paint I use does not require such an overcoat so I'll have to be _very_ careful.

"You do not have permission to access this page"

So it stood up well to brake fluid then? Impressed, I didn't think it'd work too well. Much classier than paint anyway

I've overhauled the front end at the weekend. Calipers are gold and stood up to some fluid leakage .

I've sanded the front forks, sprayed with zinc primer and overcoated with Hammerite black gloss (4 coats). The finish of the calipers is average but the forks are spot on.

Pictures soon...

I noticed you'd gone a bit quiet over the weekend
