Glad you're ok and the damage aint too bad.

Makes you lose faith in humanity when people don't think to get out and help don't it.

Bad luck.

Van driver, what a tosser. You could have clutched your heart and collapsed in front of the van, that would have given him something to think about

I just need to pick myself up, get the bike fixed and all cleaned and polished and get back on her asap.

Feeling a bit down in the dumps at the minute as you could well imagine, I guess it's because I keep thinking about the bike.

The most important thing is I have not been injured in any way, which I suppose is partly down to buying decent gear.

Thats the right thing to do. Don't be down, just get back on and remind yourself why you enjoy biking. I'd say attack your favorite bit of road, but at this time of year thats probably not wise

Bad luck old son, these things happen, riding in snow is fraught with dangers and the percentage chance of staying upright is small. As for the van driver, well, words almost fail me - what a miserable excuse for a human being .

Glad you're okay and the bike has minimal damage.

important thing - youre ok... as was posted on Gregs off.... bikes can be fixed people cant....

as for the van driver... well if youve seen the link spideyman posted in another thread about a woman laying unconcious in the road while all the vehicles went around her... to be honest his reaction is typical of drivers on the road these days...

I recently got a gear lever for £7.50. Had to file a little bit thinner but it's as good as the old (snapped) OEM one.
