ok. makes sense to hold onto the old exhuast anyway in case I sell it.

So if I'm going to fit it myself, am I right in thinking it's a case of taking of the lowers, then undoing the single allen key bolt next to the rear shock, and the two allen key bolts at the front pipe? will there be washers underneath that nee replacing? (bike is 1yr old) will I need exhaust paste? or is it a case of bolt off, bolt on?

Thanks for all your help and advice chaps. invaluable site this and a friendly bunch to boot!

Did you try bringing home the stock exhaust system in your rucksack?

It was a finders fee from my boss for getting someone in to work with us. He got it from a guy at Two Wheels mag, apparently it was special order from japan....

I've got the details of the Uk Distribution centre it came from if that's any help?

I took a ride down to Crescents (BSB factory / dealer) today and got a price on both the Akrapovic and Yoshi systems and slip ons and I'm very tempted by the yoshi as thats what they use on the GSXR race bikes but it carries quite a hefty price tag! Would be interested to know how you get on with your system.

P.S chris svk3:- Yoshi slip on tri oval = S/S £361, Ti £440, carbon £487 (non legal). Legal slip on in round only S/S £356, Ti £400. System is £629 which is oval.
