oh yes a set of stock sv tyres (sportmax) around £160 retail fitted, pehaps less if brought over e-bay. A decent set like bridgestone 020s have more life 6000-7500 around £230 retail. fitted. the 010s also £230 (i have these) will last just as long as the stock ones (4000-5000) BUT MORE SICKY.

Hmm... IIRC I paid about £180 for the Roadtecs fitted on the bike, and that wasn't particularily cheap.

£500 for a clutch, £180 for tyres,

Thats a sixth of a brand new sv.

I take it that was the case of getting ripped off properly.

I remember another post on here saying that clutches were cheap, like 18 quid for plates

Clutch plates and springs are pretty cheap, but if you manage to damage the basket etc that'd soon add up...

I've done a few burnouts in my time, and my clutch is just fine... If you damage the clutch from a few efforts you're just doing it wrong I think.
