You did remember to warm the engine up before checking didn't you? If you didn't then the viscosity of the oil is such that it takes ages to run into the sight glass

oh yea
it was a blame carsick kinda weekend.. mmmmmmmmm I have a glorious smell of baked potato wafting up the stairs.
