Have you been WD40'ing them before you have a go at removing them? Smetimes a bit of heating does the trick too... hair dryer maybe should give you a hand - heat the area up (obviously not good around areas which contain fuel...) and then have a go...

Lots of differeent grades of stainless steels,
as far as I know A2 and A4 only denotes grade of corrosion resistance.

That's true.
These bolts can be used in several places on the bike, But not anywhere that your life depends on it and if people have trouble with the original bolts stainless ones won't last long.

Thats total rubbish and you know it.

Tell you what take a piece of stainless and a piece of steel same size and shape Now we each take a hacksaw you cut the stainless and I will cut the soft as poo steel. I bet I beat you by a large margin.

stainless ones won't last long.[/quote] what you talking about here ?

TRY HERE WWW.CHEWYS-STUFF.CO.UK/

A2 stainless steel is more than 30% stronger than Low or Medium Carbon Steel which is used most on our bikes thus the reason for the opening post. ie the soft as poo bolts fitted by Suzuki.

Did you know that Suzuki offered a replacement stainless steel bolt kit for the sv1000 (cant think why ummm ) and wait for it price was £120
