Sometimes I do and sometimes I don't. Generally I don't because they never nod back, and don't seem to understand the whole nod thing. Have had 1 returned nod and 1 nod without my nodding first. In 2.5 years of riding.

Scoobs probably has a pair, then

I've voted no, but I have to admit I nod to bikers when I'm driving my car and yesterday I was on my bike and nodded someone going the other way on the m25.

I will nod to allsorts, but i will only nod scooters if they look decent and look likely to nod back. I have found the most arrogant of bikers to be the american types with there big chopper style bikes, they never nod but just seem to sit back ignorant to everybody else on the road (no offence to anybody here, just seems to be the ones i come across?)

I appreciate some scooter riders are arses and dont deserve a nod but why do some say theyd never nod to one? arent they still on 2 wheels? how would you like it if sports bike riders didnt bother nodding to you cos you ride a 'girls' bike

We all have to start somewhere. I rode a 50cc scoot when I was 16,maybe I rode it like a plank at times but thats cos I was young and didnt know any better. You learn after nearly getting splatted by a bus for the 15th time! For every on a scoot thats just using it for a year before they get themselves a Nova or a Honda Chavic, theres those who want to move upto bikes when theyre older

And the reason why some dont nod is because they either a. dont know about the nod because theyre new to biking or b. dont expect it. when I ride my dads t-max I suddenly become invisible to most bikers so dont bother turning my head when any come past

Plus when I was 16 and a biker gave me the nod it made my day

So next time nod ya miserable *******s :P

Except if theyre wearing trackies

I never nod to scooters, I dont consider it a proper bike and its a possible benefit for them to upgrade to a big bike, so they get a proper nod from a biker

because you cant have a 'proper' bike at that age! and I think more kids are likely to want to upgrade if theyre acknowledged by bikers and feel encouraged.

I know I did

Well all the scooters i encounter are ridden by ***kers so dont feel the need to nod. Same applies if I see an idiot only wearing a t-shirt and shorts on a litre sportsbike. Im just picky
