I haven't had my SV long but when I jump on it I feel like I have put on an old pair of slippers. It just feels so easy to ride, almost cosy.

I never got that with Bandit as I always felt on top of it as opposed to a part of it. The SV is somehow less intimidating as a first big bike in my opinion.

Took me a few months till i could throw it around and use the power to its full potential. Its my first bike. Just remember to go at your own pace, dont push it.
