Poor you - what a nightmare!
![]() As the others have said, though, glad you're all in one piece - and hope you feel better soon. |

Damn, that is probably the worst type of accident to have. Not seeing it coming what so ever.
![]() Happy for you that you have no broken bones though. Seems like you got away with it lightly. Hope to see you in Soho soon on your nice............errr............ER500. ![]() |

ER500 is over the 33bhp allowence any way, they produce about 50bhp. So make sure they are giving you a restricted one.

Well, the mists of complication are parting. The insurers have confirmed that the ER500 has been restricted to 33BPH.
Now I need to see if the garage can attempt to recover the alarm and scottoiler from uner the pillion seat of my bike before it's scrapped - even if they're in no state to be put on a new bike the solicitors reckon I can claim for them off the other insurer. One minor point of amusement - i emailed datatag last week to re-register the security coding on the bike into my name. Got a form from them yesterday to fill in and pay my £15 ![]() Does anyone now if I'm meant to inform them (and alphadot - the previous owner was obviously security conscious) and the DVLA that the bike has been scrapped? Strange question this, but should kevlar armour in clothing (e.g. elbow guards) be replaced after an accident, or can it withstand repeated impacts?

Unless it's cracked or broken it'll be fine.
