yea my RS is costing a lot on fuel and oil (have to use castrol tts which is £10.50 a litre and it drinks the stuff!) i just hope i sell my RS quickly as i need to move on, the market isnt great for bike at the moment as where coming into winter so i hope that this doesnt effect the sale.
Probably going to be spending aroung the £2000 for one. been looking around ebay and biketrader and seem to be some nice ones around this price (although ill probably end up borrowing money as i always go over my budget!!) Yea Saint Matt is on BCF (he was the one that did 2 up pillion KD) but havnt spoken to him yet, sound like a good idea. Whats the difference in MPG from my RS to a SV? i knew it was an imporvment but is it a massive one? |

I've ordered the Graphite - reckon it looks the dog's danglies. ..... but best stop talking about it or I'll be thrown off for derailing the thread.

Hey Andy...great bike, great to ride and to look at and just enough power to put a smile on your face.
However...and I'll get thrown off for this..mine has been a bit unreliable in the two years I've owned her (since new). Been back to dealers 3 times for a dodgy gearlever...bike died on me two/three months ago on a rideout - had to be rescued by AA man. Turned out to be a melted terminal in the ignition barrel. Suzuki replaced all lockset under warranty. Next was the failed tail-lights and now further to my post she won't start. Sorry guys....love the bike but hate the unreliability. My old Kwakker never let me down once in five years..... |

..........sounds like a Friday Special you got there mate.  If the trouble keeps up, ask them to replace it - not fit for purpose. Only had one prob with my K5 - the FI light came on and the throttle jammed open to about 3k after some hard pushing. Dealers had a QUICK play with it, diagnosed a slack throttle cable, caned it on a test ride and BINGO- it's fine since. Best of luck. Garry
