If you ever sat in the queue pre-bridge to get through Millau, you'll appreciate just what a god-send it is.
I've not been that way since the bridge was built (yes, I've queued for hours to get through town), but the scenery is quite superb. The Tarn gorges to the east of Millau are absolutely stunning. If you like (feathered) birds, you'll see vultures. The causses (lime stone plains) on the tops either side of the Tarn valley are like another world compared to down at river level. |

Not sure what I'm doing this year, maybe back to the Alps (last year was awesome) or maybe down to the South West of France...
