Southern France.

I've ridden over that bridge, its nice. Unfortunately the deck spans out a fair way past the road, so the view isnt as good as it could be.

France...

The most direct route there is simply down the A10 from Paris ... A71 then ...A75, but there are lots more interesting routes

It was designed by the British architect Lord Foster and at 300m (984 feet) it is the highest road bridge in the world - So its a little bit of England in France

If you ever sat in the queue pre-bridge to get through Millau, you'll appreciate just what a god-send it is.

I've not been that way since the bridge was built (yes, I've queued for hours to get through town), but the scenery is quite superb. The Tarn gorges to the east of Millau are absolutely stunning. If you like (feathered) birds, you'll see vultures. The causses (lime stone plains) on the tops either side of the Tarn valley are like another world compared to down at river level.

If you want a bridge try this one

Denmark to Sweden, the Oresund Bridge, absolutely fantastic.

Good touring to be had in both countries

Not sure what I'm doing this year, maybe back to the Alps (last year was awesome) or maybe down to the South West of France...
