Not as much as the embarrassment to the Gentlemen. Those rough northern type, Yorkshire and Lancashire kicked their backsides at a game they where supposed to have invented. Banning the payments, got rid of the embarrassment and allowed the gentlemen to continue playing with themselves

The Halton Stadium hey? Never watched a game there but have watched many at Naughton Park. I even played on there a few times also.

They are still going, relagated last season from super league, need to bounce straight back up this year.

Bring back the good old days of Naughton Park!!!!
