Seems a varied response so I guess it's just down to the individual. I think a big factor is how relaxed they feel on the bike, my brother hadn't been on the bike since last summer.
After a slow bimble down some mellow twisties he commented on how fast I'd been which I found a bit strange for him. (He used to have a bike and has happily been on every one I've ever had) I think if he was feeling nervous about the ride he'd be tensed up which would soon transform into general discomfort on the bike? |

Yeah i went on the back of my bike when my sister was riding it, curvy SV. As she is short and split seats their is a lot of wind blast, plus after 50 miles ya can get a numb bum. Also the torqueness of the SV reallly was annoying as my sister wasnt careful and just hammered the bike. You have to get a good position on the bike, i.e. one hand on your knee and one on the grab rail to stop yourself headbutting the rider.

Top Box does the trick. Makes the pillion feel more secure. I don't mean put them in it though
![]() And Silent, it's all about having confidence in your pillion. She is always watching the road , like a rider and she knows my style. Plus the Ohlins adds a bit of stiffness to rear. ![]() |

i used to love going pillion on the back of my dads bikes but since i had my scooter never again. the last time was when i was 16 and i went on the back of my dads Yamaha XVS1100 Dragstar (While my XVS125 was on order, i know sad innit!) i hated it, it wasn't the bike (i enjoyed riding that the little i did) or my dad (it was not having control

Mrs TLmark likes the rear seat and grab rail she's only 5"3 so I have to park near a curb for her to get on as for the ride she likes it I'm not to keen on the drop in performance
