Know the feeling, as mine only goes up the Old Kent road most of the time have very large chicken strips as a 100 yard blast before you hit the next set of lights doesnt give you much chance of leaning the bike over. That happens to me too - left side is more worn that the right due to different routes to and from work. I'm working on increasing my speed round a couple of 90 degree right handers to even them up.
