I've used smoothrite on car brake discs and drums so you don't see a horrid rusty bit inside a nice shiny alloy wheel. It's only been on my current car for about 6 years, so it might not last very well ( ).

i used the halfords stuff recently on my enduro exhaust 2 weks later its rusty again

I would not recomend halfords VHT paint

I guess you've got an EBC wavy then. My wavy doesn't have a centre to paint, but the unused area of the disc does get manky. A quick rub with Nevr Dull soon cleans it up though.

I think my rear Prolite lasted about 3 weeks on teh bike in winter before it was dark brown... The fronts weren't so bad, since there's not much unused surface. Quite glad to have both off now.
