Yeah, know another SV'er, that's a good idea Sid...if I can convince him

Actually I adjusted it as per your post above and it was 100% better, in fact it felt brand new whilst going at full whack between 3 - 5, but pulled into a garage and turned off for a couple of minutes. On pulling back out the clutch was sticking again and I had to blip it to get it into 2nd (ok again after that though ).

Try the other lifter if you can - if no lasting improvement then the problem may lie in the clutch itself.

If so ask again and I'll detail some other things to look at.

Don't worry PH, this particular bike is approaching Ducati levels of reliability.
