Had exactly the same thing happen before myself, your right, they do make quite a thud!!
 Just think what a thud you would make if you hit something at 70+mph!! …

Glad you're okay. This happened to me too. All I remember was seeing these two little pink feet getting closer. I hit the poor thing up the **** at a rate of knots and I think it split open as there was blood and feathers stuck in my vents. The smell was not good.
Still, that's one less flying rat!

Eugh. Glad you're okay Dan. I'm sure the same thing happened to one of the bike mag journalists a while ago and he has black eyes, maybe even a broken nose to show for it.
