Curvy. Afraid that I still cant get to grips with the looks of the pointy. But hey, I like classic bikes!
I have ridden both models and as far as I am concerned they are as near as dammit the same in their riding characteristics. As far as suspension is concerned, they are both as bad as each other in standard guise.

Curvy, cos i own one and couldnt afford a pointy.

Pointy's dont look good though without fairing lowers!

I personally ride a curvy.

Looks wise I prefer the faired pointy to the curvy one, however when it comes to the naked bikes, the curvy is much nicer than the naked pointy.

I've never ridden a pointy, but I have sat on one, and the seat is not as comfortable as the curvy, IMO

Curvy all the way. Stick with me on this, if the SV thou had been a curvy design, we might have had to change the name of this forum

<bait>

In some angles, the pointy can look nice. But only with the grab rail removed, solo seat cowl on, tail tidy and belly pan. Without any of that, I think they kind of look guff. The clocks are all wrong, too much free space on the dash makes it look cheap and nasty. They do look good with a double bubble on though. The naked model just looks totally unfinished, I wouldn't buy one if their rrp was halved! Urgh...yuckie!

I've had 3 curvies and like their looks but having said that:

The faired one's are a bit jelly mouldish, only in some angles do the fairing lowers look "right". The rear light is nice but nowhere near as nice and sleek as the pointies.

All in my opinion of course, I can spot flaws in any bike I have owned and am not afraid to slate them.

NO!

But think about it, they had the chance to recitfy the problems with the TL and trade on it's bad ass image. They wussed out.
