^^That exhaust actually looks shorter than the original posters can. Where is the blue flame badge (which is usually rivetted on)

Did you buy the can off ebay, 2nd hand? As it looks to me that the can has come from another bike hence the length (not always the same length)

Law your can hanger is much more towards the center of the can that the one on DoubleD's bike is.

It might be the angle of the photo, but your link pipe looks like it has a more of a bend in it to.

DoubleD where did you cut your original exhaust ? I'm wandering if you didnt cut if close enough to the weld and thats why its sticking out so much. IIRC you are supposed to cut 45mm from the weld.

My blue flame had a sticker instead of the rivetted on plate. IIRC Dr Rich said they stoppped producing them with the rivetted on plate as it was one of the causes of EVO models vibrating themselves apart.

Looks like your link pipe is way shorter than mine.
I'll have a chat with Rob and see what he says.

It had a blurflame sticker which I put on and then took off again, looks better without the sticker, I would have liked the rivetted badge.

The link pipe I have is butted up to the weld and won't go on any further, cut pipe as per instructions.

I got mine new, July last year. Dunno when they started to put stickers on.

Easy way out might be to say you have a K5?

Is there anyone with photoshop that can compare the lengths of the can from the 2 photos using the can hanger as reference?

Still think it's longer, physically.

Sounds like they have sent you the wrong link pipe then. Drop Rod an email he should be able to sort it out for you.
