Is it always this easy during the day when you're on a bike?
That's commuter terratory for me. Yes I do get to the office & get home every day with a big huge cheesy grin on my face!

The truck drivers always help out, never seen an a-hole truck driver around those parts yet (almost 8k miles worth of travel). Caravans haven't been a problem this year, due to the A5 being closed off for the worst part of holiday season. Normally though, when you're used to the road, a gentle squeeze & you're past them, even on the shortest of straights.

I can usually be found with my bike parked by Llyn Ogwen, and me half way up the mountain in the summer. Great place to retreat & loose yourself in the world. The feeling of insignificance is great when you're going through a stressful time.

Once you get to know the roads, it's truely heaven. Although, my favourite part of the commute home is on the A55 but only when you pass those beautiful signs saying "Delays at bridge"... delays? What delays

If you fancy a ride one weekend, give me a shout!

EDIT: Looking at your avatar, I've probably passed you a lot on the A5. More so back when I was driving the car though.

Also, BabyJ, happy birthday!

Ahem, my day is pretty dull. I really should put some clothes on and get something constructive done. Breakfast kinda merged with lunch while I was on here and surfin' ebay...

Also, BabyJ, happy birthday!
Thanks Baph

As for today pretty boring really! This is my 1st of 2 weeks off sick due to knee trouble and all I'm doing is housework Not complaining really as it's giving me the chance to get the bits done that I wouldn't normally get done that often like cleaning the windows etc This is in between surfing the net and the org of course!

Don't usually ride that, but did last Sunday. Man you can go fast up there. Some real blind crests though! The road down to Denbigh was entertaining too, was followed by a Fazer 1000 who would not pass and just sat hiding in my blind spot, right behind me! Odd person.....

I see a lot of that, idiots who like to hide in blindspots. Why oh why oh why?

Anyway, nice to hear you had a good ride Mike, whilst I was stuck in doing DIY

EDIT: Just for kicks after leaving your place that day, heading down the B5105 as you instructed, I hit the A5 & knew where I was, so detoured back up past Llyn Brenig to the A543 & left again back down to the A5. It made me late for home, but hey, it was a nice ride (even with a bald tyre in the wet )

Happy Birthday BabyJ, for yesterday anyway. How's the tongue this morning? At least it's something else to think about other than your knee.

Baph, how much fun must you have every morning on your "commute" to work?? Jammy sod The A470 is a riot, no wonder you don't use the car much. Avatar piccy was taken at Bala Lake one evening but you probably knew that already!

We should definitely go for a ride out, seems like North Wales is the only area not represented in the "Regional Clubs & Get Togethers" section.

Cheers,

Gary.

PS I hope BabyJ is going to share the big box of chocolates with the rest of the .org
