we had our cat from 5 weeks old and he wreck'd the house! every external wallpaper'd corner is clawed, we did buy a scratch post but he preferes walls i'll redecorate when he stops and the kids know better.
he has a fetish with the bath for some reason he's not scared of water and likes to sit on the side of the bath while your in it! ive evan dragged his tail in the water with my foot and hes not bother'd.

Hi phillip!

He looks like a nice cat, reminds me of my girlfreinds cat with that gaze in the bottom pic.

Congratulations on your new family member!

Nowt wrong with cats... My Sooty (just a moggy) who iv'e left at home with mother, is 22 years old now. Damn good going. She doesn't look well in this picture though, she had an over active theiroid which made her not be able to eat, poo blood etc. She lost a lot of weight, shes ok now, got to crush a pill every day in her food.. Bless her...

Now i've moved into my place, i've got meeself some waaaabbits. I suggested skinning n cooking them, but the missis wasn't happy

Same process (ish). Rang the local RSPCA center (Medway PRivately funded ), went down for a quick meeting, we'd already chosen the rabbits online, went down there, picked them up, handed over a volentary contribution of £30 each, then bought some hay, straw, toys etc.. They are a medium lop crossed with a Lion Head (hence the facial "maine" as it were).

Their getting neuted this friday, started humping each other all the time, and no progressed to fighting as well. But they love each other, and i have to say, im rather fond of them now as well.. A lot more active than I thought, and getting tamer by the day (although it has taken 2-3 months so far )

More pictures...

Good on you SoulKiss .
I wouldn't worry too much about names myself. Philips is fine. It's only a cat FFS. J/k .

Daimo your companions look very cute as cute furry thing go. I'm sat here wondering where you didn't just get yourself one of those furry toy mutts. Those are no substitute for the real thing.
It's obvious you really wanted a dog.No? :P

Cheers
Ben

Great looking cat you got there, we may be looking to rescue one, but I've just got to try and STOP collecting all the strays! I'm such a sucker for animals!!!

The procedure is as follows.......

Go to Battersea,

Follow the Red Paw prints on the ground to the Rehoming reception

Take a number from the dispenser

Get a form - Pink for Cats, Blue for Dogs

Get a pen and clip-board.

Fill in the form while waiting for an interviewer to come and take you away to have a chat.

Get asked a few questions about home, and what you are looking for.

If you are living in rented acommodation you will need written consent from your landlord.

If you pass the test - would be hard not to, you can then go look at the cats/dogs and find the one you want to take home.

You then go down and the pet of your choice is instpected by a nurse, you are let know about any medical issues and get 6 weeks free pet insurance.

You then go pay your cash - £40 for a Cat, £70 for a Dog and then head for home with your new family member.

So now, I would like to introduce Philip (named by previous owner, an old lady who died - name may be changed if he likes :P) an 11 yo British Short hair.

Nahh we did want a dog, but the hours we work denote we'd only see it in the evenings and its not really fair on a new puppy. We will get a dog, but not yet. Rabbits are active in the evenings when we're home, and cost relativly nothing to look after, unless you spoil them like my missis seems to be doing We get frozen veg, the bloody rabbits get fresh cucumber, carrots etc...

Rabbits won't leave a mess on my carpet either
