Mail delivery problem

on the subject of pay? what would you say is peanuts? i think the post office pay is ok for the area i live, dont know what the waiting payments are for london tho

i used to get £4.65 an hour.
but i didn't work in the post office

your average postie is on about 20k, the problems have been with recruitment.

20K is more than a lot of my railwaymen and women are on, no wonder we get such low quality staff.

Well, if he finds out i have made complain, he might just deliver all my mails to the bin

he cant do anything its more than his jobs worth, just report him! sometimes a quiet word in the ear of the postman from his line manager is enuf to disturb him and for him to know that someone might be on to him, express that you dont want to be named to the postie (they wont give names out anyway they take this very seriously)

True - but consider the wider implications - there could be a lot more people suffering on the same round and not saying anything for the same reason, also thinking they are the only ones. It could be your complaint that triggers an investigation and stops the lot.
