I do it all the time, but the cage drivers don't listen anyways. Do you think I should mount a megaphone to my bike?

Nah, you'd need ugly wires attaching you to the bike, which is never good.

Much better to mount the megaphone to your helmet, that way, you get to look like Kinvig with his pet-lid

And exactly is wrong with helmets with fluffy ears?

Ops, sorry for the derail, Mr. Bon Giovi...

BUT.....

...it says different on the Autocom site. Just look at the motorsport teams that use each type. Looks to me that noisy F1 beasties prefer the good ol' Autocom.

I must say, it works for me.

Cheers,

I've got the starcom advance thingy, I like it.
Its pretty good, hides away under the tail ouside the subframe, no wires showing. It links up to my GPS as needed (much safer than looking down at the gps screen) works with the ipod and phone well too but I rarely use that, only when touring.
I had a bit of trouble with engine interference at first, but wrapping the cables in foil and rerouting them a bit fixed most of that.
And I dispute their claim that it is good for 100mph, that does not match my experience. The missus and I can talk up to about 70mph but then background noise drowns it out. Maybe we don't have it quite set right but I'm pretty sure we do...
