Got the bike back so here's the damage...
![]() A lovely hole in the engine case ( not as bad as I first thought, but not good) and the 're-profiled downpipe probably isn't helping gas flow. ![]() New design R+G's not as good as the old style ones. Leading to... ![]() ...bent and leaking rad. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Various damage: the bar ends did well, the throttle still turns freely and both levers snapped at the weak point. There's marks to the engine case, frame, tank and forks as well as dings and scrapes to the body work so pretty sure it will be written off but I guess it depends who's paying for it. ![]() HG pants did well against a Mondeo but will need to be retired now. Boots show no sign of damage, does anyone know if the armour degrades after impact like body armour does? |

WOW!! I've had some pretty hard hits before but I've never been unlucky enough to do that sort of damage! First time I've ever seen someone punch a hole in the thing! Glad you're OK and the hole is in the bike and not you
