I'd love to have the option of leaving the bike at home but I can't afford taxis and if I use public transport I'd have to get up 2 hours earlier.

Weather report for this area is 10 inches of snow over night. So that will equate to a possible light dusting tomorrow morning. Regardless of the weather, it's always two wheeled transport to work.
