I would definatley say yes if you want to its ur bike, it looks gd if you choose the right colour. A contrasting colour looks really good but so does a matching colour to the bike. I used to have a bandit that was dark blue with black rims, I put on bright yellow tape and it changed the appearance dramatically. I say go for it, just take ur time fitting it and choose the right colour.

Personally I dont like it, especially when its been applied poorly it just makes your bike look cheap.
However, if its done right it can look good. Jelsters Blade springs to mind here. Red / Black bodywork, black wheels with red rim tape. Its subtle and it does look good. Its got to compliment the colours of the bike. having a colour thats compeletly contrasting looks rubbish IMHO.

OMG! I love this. Where do I get rim tape from? Does it come in silver? Why has NO ONE told me about this before???
What else can I put tape on? |

Very much depends... Jelsters and Ianofbhills bikes are good examples, but you see so many rotten ones that it's a bit tainted

I would probably opt for the daisys, but I don't like how they seem to turn a motorbike into a VW Beetle. I am off to Infinity Motorcycles at the weekend to locate some good rimming action... |
