it looks far better in that photo! constant winter use hasn't helped anything at all. i've got no idea how to clean the brass looking bits under the tank!

well payday is almost upon me, so im going in full bore on the cleaning front,
hopefully ill get my new set of yokes from Kwak, my mechanic will come round and fit them, and ill invest in some decent cleaning stuff, Auto sol, back to black ect my down pipe isnt too bad only a little bit of crust, i just need the damm time, itd be nice to get under the dam thing too. lol,

Speaking of cleaning the bike, here's a good reason to get those bolts cleaned up.

I fitted my R&Gs finally last night. CAUTION: THE FRIDGE MAY NOW BE DAMAGED BY FALLING OVER!

Whilst I was taking out the main engine bolt (runs through the engine from one side to the other), the bolt was a little tight (as you'd expect). Give it some force...

CRACK! Oh **** I hope I haven't just snapped the bleeding thing. Wait, no, doesn't really matter, the R&Gs have a new engine bolt. Phew!

Turns out that the cracking noise I crapped myself about was merely the "dirt seal" bearking on the bolt, and nothing to worry about.
