Worth a thought if possible, atleast then you havent got to think about services or an mot. And you have a brand spanking new bike!!
You got finance at 17?? And it will need servicing. 600 miles, then every 4000 miles form there on in!

Cool Re: my budget!(looking for cheap SV)

The guy would need one of his parents to be a "guarantee" or something, meaning that if he couldn't afford the payments, lost his job or so on then the "guarantee" would have to pay, and will be held responsible.

yeah I've had some quotes and the best is about £420 on an sv650 with 0 NCB.

yeah it would be better if I can get a used bike, but my budget restricts me

anymore suggestions?

by the way, the servicing you mentioned.. do I pay for that or is it included?

Not trying to put you off, but don't forget the cost of tyres (as well as servicing). Big cost if you do reasonable miles, even if you do all the servicing yourself.

Yeh i had my mum as my financial backer, just meant if i missed any payments my mum would have to pay up. It's worked great so far havent missed a payment. I'm in a great job though working full-time as an apprentice plumbing and heating engineer, i qualify in july so then i won't miss the money at all then. I pay for all my services through the finance so i don't have to worry about that. I had two options, buy a car to tied me over or buy a bike and have fun at the same time. Picked the bike and it's the best thing i have ever brought.

You only need a parent or gardian to be your financial backer just incase you miss a payment. It was simple, just so long as you can make the payments the loan company is happy to let you have the finance. All is not lost!!!
