No. Silver is right for '99.

my opinion...!

The lowers are right, and probably the right colour. They are a different plastic to the other body work, and the colour is always ever so slightly off, so it could just be a bad camera angle and the light playing tricks.

Without seeing the bike in the flesh, its always hard to tell if all is as it seems.

One thing i have noticed is that it doesnt have Metz4 rubber on there, which if it had only done 1700 miles, then it would have unless he had it changed when new.

No history, or MOT/TAX and still wants £1500..hmmm

Id say its possibly been a track bike, or its had new clocks. I wouldnt bid without going to have a look, and taking someone who knows what they are looking at. If you can get the VIN and full reg, then do a HPI online. Its costs about £25 but a small price to pay.

You can do an HPI through eBay (history check) for £6 - I strongly recomend you do so.

What's that supposed to mean? I know that my '99 and at least two others that I can think of immediately had silver wheels.

Morning all, sent a message to the guy asking why the downpipe was mingin after 1700 miles. He said it was due to wet weather. Not bin ridden in 3 years almost except for a 10 mile blatt, and it had to have a new battery.

Final thoughts....

BUY OR NOT?

Just a bit of common courtesy to acknowledge that Hovis had already correctly answered that point. Otherwise it looks like all us second raters should be ignored on anything bike related.
