Are you telling me that rs125s push out 33bhp? An unrestricted 50cc is still wank. Certainly not going to top 50mph.

I agree. Fed up with 'fairy tales' of RS125s doing 110mph+ and thrashing 500cc+ bikes. It ain't gonna happen (maybe round a tight race track with lots of corners!)
.......and I used to own a heavily modified RS in my 'yoof'

Hehe. A 400 will struggle to beat the SV! To get a two-stroke tuned well is bloody difficult. Hence why there are two stroke tuning gods! Anyone on a 125 thinks they're fast until they try a 600... anyone on an SV thinks they're fast until they try...

50cc were doing average TT laps of 80 something mph in the sixties.

If you're going to DR one to do 65 you may as well buy a 125 and stick 50cc stickers on.

With an expert tuner and huge budget, with minimal engine life. Not a spotty teenager with the internet and a spanner

I had a motorhispania RYZ 50cc it wasn't restricted when i got it from new. I could managed 60mph on mine. Tested it with a mate in a car, it was down hill mind you with wind behind me . I did like that bike quite abit for it's noise and it was spritely too for a 50cc. I was a happy 16year old . I'd love a 2-stroker for a track bike!!!

My 50 would do 55mph, did get 60 once (downhill), but the speedo read +15mph so showed 70mph when flat out!

Oh and it had a 'stubby' exhaust with no baffle
