Move to a less pikey area. No-one's ever tried to steal any of my bikes round here. I think that may be partly down to the fact that I am well known in the area, and if they were found out they know full well what would happen.

Unfortunately I can't dictate to work where the offices are, but it's not THAT pikey an area around here. Just opportunists I reckon.

Yup. Generally I only post when I'm working, with a few exceptions.

I work as a resident code monkey, but generally only get involved when there's something major happening.

Today, as there's sod all on the cards, I'm stuck regression testing the app for a customer release. 16bugs found in the first 2hours.

I just hope that they don't tell me I have to fix all the bugs I've found.

Is your bike still where you left it?

Yup. I don't park in the same car park as I used to, but that's mainly down to traffic wardens. I can still hear the alarm where I park it now, and it's more out of sight for opportunists than before.

Get this, I left the keys in the ignition last night, with the bike parked out on the side of the road. Nothing happened to it at all. Suppose that proves I don't live in a pikey area. (I've left helmet & gloves on the bike WITH keys in the ignition over night before!)

Living near snowdonia helps him! Near me, they would be gone in 5 mins! That why i have the Territorial Army surrounding my garage every night! Costs me a fortune!
